Avoid at all costs. Had him and his partner build a “custom” home. Nothing was done by the book. We financed the build but everything was done half @$$. Talks a big talk, but has no integrity or follow through on ANYTHING! Took him nearly three years to build our home. Never fixed anything as promised. Went beyond contract completion date and never communicated the status of anything. Finally told home we were gonna walk away and he finally finished it. If you wanna call it that. Tried to jack up the price MONTHS after contract expired. Only way to get into our home was hire an attorney. At the point he tried liening our home and told everyone one he never paid them because we never paid him. Got everything settled and only paid for what was in our contract + attorney fees. No lawsuit unless other action as far as liens or destruction of property occurs.
