We needed a new heat pump and furnace for our home. We met with Randy and his son Cody. He at first said he could fix our existing system, but after waiting and hearing nothing for 2 weeks, we called him out again. He then recommended a new gas pack system. He then did not contact us for almost a month, during which time we had no heat. I called him to express my displeasure with the lack of progress and communication, and he blamed his unresponsiveness on us.
I would label this guy an eccentric Prima Donna. Picks and chooses what he wants to do. Will leave you hanging, which isn't good when it's below freezing outside.
If you want to get your system maintained or replaced, call a professional company with trained staff who care about your business and your immediate needs. After our fiasco with Whetstone Heating and Cooling, we called and liked Family Air in Tucson (they installed our new system) and Arizona Comfort Systems in Sierra Vista.
Do yourself a favor. Pick someone professional and avoid "Chuck in a Truck" guys like Randy.
