    Cabinet install
    $27,000

    In October of 2023, our kitchen cabinets finally began to be installed. The installer called the first day and informed me that the kitchen sink did not fit. He explained that the sink can’t be 36 inches if the cabinet is only a 36 inch cabinet. Well unfortunately due to the delay in the project, it was long past the return period for the sink and I needed to get a new sink ASAP. I quickly purchased a sink and figured I would just attempt to sell the old sink.

    The installer then called on the second day and stated that we were missing pieces to attach all of the crown molding to the top of the cabinets. He said risers should have been purchased with the kitchen originally. I go to Lowe’s and ask about this and all they say is “sorry, it was never on your order. It will be roughly $972.15 to order them and they will take about 4 weeks to come in.” I go ahead and place the order.

    The risers come in. I contact the installer so that he can return and install the crown molding. He returns on November 15th and does the install.

    The installer then “finishes”. I notice the cabinet handles were never installed. I contact the installer and he states that he usually doesn’t do that if they weren’t purchased from Lowe’s. I explain that Charlton told me it was included. He then states that he will install them on November 28th. I explain that this is unacceptable because this should have been done originally. The next thing I know Lowe’s installation department is calling me to say that they will not be installing my handles. Another Mike in the cabinet section at Lowe’s got on the phone and explained that he always sells kitchens and this has never been the case. Long story short, it seems policies were changed and no one told the people that actually sell you the kitchen. So we installed the handles ourselves.

    Also once the crown molding was installed, I notice that there is multiple scratches and a chip in my Maritime hood. The drawers for the cabinets do not align. I take multiple photographs. I contact Lowe’s Installation department and request a supervisor. They say one will call me within 24 hours.
    In the meantime, we try to install the electronic portion of the hood. While reading the instructions we see that the inside should have been installed before the wood portion. So essentially the cabinet installer should have installed it. I understand not wiring it because they are not an electrician but now it has to be removed to actually be installed correctly.

    Horrible experience. Started install of 11 windows May 17, 2022. Still not done. Terrible workmanship. Chris, project coordinator no help. If you but windows from Lowes in Sebring Florida, do NOT let them do the installation.

    kitchen remodel

    I had them remodel my kitchen. The work by their team was beyond EXCELLENT! Pete was excellent in laying out the kitchen. Dakota, the gentleman who did the remodel was always cheerful, knowledgeable, anytime a problem arose, he presented solutions and did his work as a professional. My job was cleaned up better than I expected. I would HIGHLY recommend this company to anyone! Thank you to the team at Perisic! Well done!
