  He came in to do basic remodeling and our bathroom- BIGGEST MISTAKE of our life. Should have realized this when we hired him in May and he didn't start until August. I was due September 29th and he swore they would be done by then- they weren't. He called off or didn't even show up with reasons that I can't even believe he thought people believed him. He took us for over $6,000. Once I paid he went behind my back and asked my husband for MORE money, he didn't know I paid him because I was at a Dr appointments. I warn ANYONE I know to STAY AWAY FROM THIS GUY! To top it off his own crew hates him, he doesn't pay them AND they know he's been in jail for fraud. If you hear his name expect to pay double or triple for shoty work that if you're lucky he will finish (but not correctly), excuse after excuse of why he can't work and a horrible attitude thinking the world owes him. He screwed up SO many things and our building inspector called him constantly and he NEVER answered. That's when we finally gave up and paid someone else to finish up- I see his shoty work EVERYDAY and it will cost triple what he charged to fix EVERYTHING he screwed up. Best is that I found him on Homework Advisor and when I called them repeatedly and left message after message they wouldn't get back to me either

  if there were something lower than terrible I would rate it 10X lower. Dishonest, deceitful, fraudulent. When you hear the name William Bower, home improvement in Harvey Lake or Benton, PA run. The biggest lie is when he said his wife died which prevented from doing work at time. Has a rap sheet with other victims. DO NOT TRUST!!!!!!!!!! Tried to seek justice and he has eluded. KARMA IS........

  Mr Bower is very dishonest. He did low quality work, didn't complete work that he charged for, didn't complete work that we agreed upon and didn't oversee his crew (on hind sight, this may have been a good thing). We sued and won a judgment against him. Two years later I am still repairing work he did.
