I should have known not to hire a contractor with a call screener. He put in a pool for us then poured concrete around it even though the pool was not oval like it supposed to be. It had a point protruding from one side. His answer to this was that it “got away from him” and we should cover the edge with a wooden bench.
We let him know that that didn’t sound like a great idea to us so he reluctantly said he could straighten it out. He tried to do it without cutting concrete, but that didn’t work. He ended up cutting the concrete and straightening out the pool. We had to buy new liner and pay for concrete again. The pool has been taken apart so many times some of the caps are broke, missing or have screws all through them.
Bill sealed some of the concrete and left some unsealed. He said he would take care of the few issues but needed money so he could pay his help. Like a fool we paid him and that was the last time he showed up to work. Now we have an incomplete pool that is leaking water, a partially sealed concrete patio and a contractor who will not answer any calls.
