  I just spent the last seven months cleaning up this dirt bags mess for just one client he ripped off! He stole hundreds of thousands of dollars without paying subs. Those subs left liens on the property. Chad shut his business down and has now moved to Florida. I think all the Federal Tax Liens on him and his wife finally caught up with him. Over two hundred thousand dollars in the last couple years. That's where everyone's money went. Contractors like this give the rest of us a bad name. This will all catch up to him sooner or later. To run a background check on this guy you need to search his real name DAVID CHAD MITCHELL his wife who is on the business and the liens is SUNNY MITCHELL and they now live in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida. He has changed his company name more times than I can count. I hope people ripped off by him see something in return. There are many victims of this guy out there who have yet to come forward. Please, if you have been taken by this guy speak up.

  Chad took deposit money from us for a kitchen remodel and exterior renovations. At the time we hired him, there were no bad reviews about him: now I am finding them around every corner. The bank financing our renovations refused to vette him: at which point, he quit returning our calls. Like others have stated, he took the money and disappeared and has made countless promises, all of which he has broken. Not one dime of our deposit has been returned, and not one bit of work was ever done. We have taken legal action against him, including the filing of criminal charges for theft.

  I hired Chad Mitchell to remodel my kitchen. Paid 50% down at the start of the job. Job estimated to take 3 weeks. At the 3 week mark only had demo and paint completed. Many promises, non returned phone calls, etc. Finally had paint, counters and trim completed. All 3 contractors came knocking at my door stating the payments Chad made to them had bounced. So now I had to pay them even though I had already paid Chad 75% of the job by then. Have asked many times for repayment. He promises then goes silent. Even told me one time he had kids to feed. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. I believe he is a con artist and a fraud. Will be seeking all legal remedies against him to try to get my money back. Very similar experience to the review above from Jerry W.

  This is the worst contractor I have ever worked with. Took our deposit, then provided a string of excuses on why he could not get started. Then 3 weeks later, two guys show up to work for four hours, said they were going to lunch and get supplies only to return. Spent weeks trying to get Chad to get someone back on the job. Dates were committed with no one showing up. Finally we asked for our deposit back. Chad agreed he failed to execute and to return our deposit. Dates were committed to deliver a check. He has not delivered.
