The contractor did not finish our project (building a house). He did not get the proper permits or final inspections. He took twice as long to do the project as he projected. He is not familiar with building projects in the city of Seattle. He does not have a crew and hires off the internet or with day labor. He is an excellent carpenter, very precise on his woodwork, but should not be asked to do large projects as a general contractor. He would not refund the deposit that was owed us ($15,000).
