We contracted Woodstock Pools to do our new pool construction and we signed the contract on August 21, 2020. The excavation was completed November 20, 2020. Then we waited for months for the electrician to come. He didn’t show up until April 7, 2021. We were given many different reasons/excuses as to why it took so long. Next was concrete which was finally poured June 4, 2021. We started asking after the concrete was poured when we would be put on the schedule to get the bottom of the pool put in so the liner could be done, and we could start filling the pool. Due to weather, it took a lot longer than expected. But there were also multiple days in a row when there was no rain, and absolutely nothing was done. We were told on July 6, 2021, that we were next. Then a few weeks later, we were told there was 3 other pools in front of us. We would text and/or call asking for updates with barely any replies. Mike finally responded on July 17, 2021 and told us to stop texting and calling him and that he didn’t need to be harassed by us. He also told us, once again, we were on the top of the list. At that point, Mike decided he was only going to talk to me and not me and my husband. I also asked him July 23, 2021 about getting prices for a pool cover (we are now in December and I am still waiting for prices.) The bottom of the pool was put in on July 23, 2021 and we were finally able to start swimming on July 30. However, the temperature of the water was 96° after Mike left the heater on for close to 24 hours. He tried telling me it was because of the temperature outside but I have cameras in my driveway and backyard so I know exactly when he turned it on and when he turned it off.
Here we are almost 5 months later and we are still having issues with Mike. He is the most unprofessional and disrespectful business owner we have ever dealt with. He still takes days and/or weeks to reply. I would have rather paid another pool company the $30,000+ we were quoted than have Woodstock Pools put our pool in. I highly recommend you NEVER use Mike Graves or Woodstock Pools. It will save you a lot of time and stress.

Mike is honest and that’s hard to find in this business. The ending result was great …

Project started out great. Work was done when said and done timely. Unfortunately a year later the project still isnt done. Concrete never finished, liner doesnt fit correctly and been having electrical issues. I would not recommend Mike
