We used Eric Worcester. He's basically a one-man show, and was reasonably priced with a fixed fee that was below others. We also had a recommendation from a friend, so we went with him. As for performance, I would say he was ok. He got the permits that we needed and helped us with some ideas, and generally met deadlines. But we did need to pay attention to details and make sure that he stayed on track and put what we wanted (and didn't want) into the drawings.
