  pavers on my side yard

  Where to start..... Carlos pulled me over to see a job they just completed 2 doors down from me and I loved the side yard with bricks and turf. He sold me on how great they are and inexpensive they were. I plunked down $3000 that I was supposed to pay half of to start and the other half when the job was completed, he asked me 2 days later to pay in full so he could purchase the products. I complied, and they came out the day they said they would, but they started working on it and they told me they were only building the walkway down the middle with nothing on the sides, what I was quoted on was pavers all the way to my wall and rock on the house side. When I asked if they were going to supply the rock, they said "at first" that I had to finish it myself with the rock. I said but I paid you $3000 for this job and the job is not what you told me it would be. They ended up getting the rock for us. They also promised to plant 2 small plants in my front yard, and that never happened. They didn't purchase enough products for my job and didn't finish the day or next day after they started, and Carlos told me they didn't know when they would be back, it was another week before they came back, it was finished, but very sloppy work by the guy that came out, he left a huge pile of sand at the end of the walkway, that we had to fix. I also paid an extra $300 dollars for them to seal the bricks off and he said that gets done after the 1st year and I doubt very seriously that they will come back, so they just took my money on that, and I took their word on the job. After all is said and done, it looks great but wasn't the exact job I was expecting for what I paid. I would not highly recommend this company.

  Front Yard

  $3,500

  I hired Carlos and his team at WOW Remodeling to install pavers and artificial grass in my front patio. They did a great job and it looks amazing! They were fast, efficient and reasonably priced. I have recommended WOW to neighbors and they have had amazing transformations. I highly recommend WOW Remodeling! I will be hiring Carlos in the near future to do a tree removal and also lighting and landscaping for the rest of my yard. I can't wait!

  concrete work

  We needed a concrete job done in our back yard and Carlos' team did a wonderful job. Fast and very reasonable priced. The job was done in a day. My husband is disabled now and can't do the handywork anymore. We will be hiring him to put in a sliding door. I'll leave another review when that is done also.

  Front yard

  Dealing with Carlos has been the worst experience I have ever had. Originally we asked him to come and give us an estimate for the front yard. We explicitly told him that it had to be done within four months of moving in per the HOA. He immediately gave us a quote and handed us a contract. He kept telling us he would make our front yard stand out and it we would be the best looking yard in the neighborhood. But, he needed half of the money prior to starting for supplies. We went ahead and gave him the money with confidence that the job would be done. This was on 10/25/2020 and it is now 1/17/2021 and the work isn’t done. He has hounded us for money with every chance he got even though it wasn’t part of the contract. He went as far as to demand money when my wife was grieving over a family member. He left tubing from the drip system above the ground and now the tree he planted has died due to it. After he laid the rocks I noticed it didn’t line up to the property line so I asked him to spread out the rock and make it line up. He immediately got defensive and said it would be an additional $300. I told him that wasn’t part of the deal and he started arguing with me. He was very rude to my fiancé and I. Ultimately I told him I wouldn’t pay extra and he said he would come back to finish it. It has been a couple of months and no sign of him yet.

  Carlos is very shady, dishonest, lazy, rude, and just overall a bad person. He has harassed my mother in law to get in touch with me and remove this review.
  I would never recommend anyone to hire him to do work. He took my money and left my front yard worst off. I had to hire another contractor to fix his mistakes, which there were a lot. Save your money and don’t hire this guy.

  Complete liar. Over quoted me then lied about the job. After I called him on the lie he said he would refund part of the money I payed him. Never heard from him again and won't answer my calls. Complete scammer, do not use them.

  Pavers

  This guy is a complete scammer. He came to my house, over quoted me by a ton, I told him I would keep looking but thanks for stopping by. He refused to leave and just kept talking. Lowered his price $2,000 right away then eventually went into showing me his bank accounts that were almost negative and telling me he needs the job because his wife has cancer. I eventually gave in to him and said he could start the job. I went to work the next morning, asked him to send a picture of the pavers before he started installing them (to make sure they matched the old ones) and waited all day for the picture that never came. I get home and the pavers are almost all installed and COMPLETELY DONT MATCH! I told him hey these don’t match the others like we agreed they would, he immediately got defensive and said they are close enough and you signed a contract so if you don’t pay the rest I’ll put a lien on your house. When I told him I wasn’t paying unless they matched as originally agreed, HE CALLED THE COPS ON ME! The cops came, agreed with me that they didn’t match and asked him to leave. Now he is sending me bills lowering the price etc. I paid this scumbag thousands of dollars for one days work and a complete headache. Not to mention he lied about the square footage! I only needed 800 sq ft and he told me no you need 1100 sqft. I should have measured myself before he started. Trust me, DO NOT HIRE HIM! HES A SCAMMER 100%. YOU WILL REGRET IT!
