After signing a contract in July, putting down a third and being promised that it would be ready by Christmas, this business failed. I made payments regularly according to the contract and I got ahead on payments and paid him almost $53,000 of a $90,000 project and after he put in the foundation and a rough frame with some windows, he called claiming he ran out of money. Additionally, he never ordered the materials for the frame and I ended up having to pay for that out-of-pocket because he ran out of money. Apparently that's something he does quite often. I am pursuing legal action and I know of at least two other cases where someone is suing him. The work he does is OK but don't ever pay him ahead. He blows through money and then doesn't have any to finish your project.
