  Bathroom remodel

  I wish I could give a 0 rating!! The owner of this company did not do what he said he would!! He will promise you everything but doesn’t do anything!! I will say that his employees were wonderful! The tile work that was done in my bathroom looked beautiful! If I could have just dealt with his employees it may have been fine, it was dealing with the owner that I had a problem with. He told us we wouldn’t have to worry about anything dealing with the insurance company and that he would take care of it all. In the end, it was my husband who spent months dealing with them and submitting all the paperwork! I would NOT recommend this company for anything!!!

  Who home remodel.

  We contracted with "Your Vision Restoration, Inc" now "Your Vision Builders" out of Manchester and Beachwood respectively are owned and operated by Raymond Jones, Sr and his wife Crystal Jones to do a gut renovation of our home and build front & back decks, erect a fence & shes. We contracted with them back in March 2021 and the work was promised to be completed in 2-3 months. They required a 50% down payment and had required additional payments of $24K along the way for a total of $85K. They received 3/4 of the entire estimated cost of the project. They did major structural work, removed load bearing walls and tore out all the plumbing and gas lines as well as electrical. They began re-wiring the house and left the job in a condition with wires exposed out of blue boxes throughout the home. During the course of the 6 months between March and September, was frequently sick, his father hospitalized, his cousin died, his kids & dog were injured, and the excuses went on and on. There were delays after delays and 4 different sets of deadlines missed. Finally, on 9/3/2021 we went to the township building department and learned that he never even submitted an application. for permits. The demo, structural work, plumbing and electrical work was completed without obtaining proper permits. Currently the home is in a condition where the entire back wall is boarded up, the walls are only framed and there's no insulation or sheetrock on any walls, and we have no idea if any of the work was done to code (photos attached). He took all our money for materials, and even though he admitted he worked without permits and owed a refund, he never provided one. He stated he had consulted with an engineer, am architect, and a licensed plumber & electrician, had the house exterminated, but never provided us with any of these professional's names or invoices. We filed a police report claiming theft by deception and there's currently an open investigation. We also filed a complaint with our state's division of consumer affairs, who are working in collaboration with the police detective. The detective working with the DCA alerted me to the fact Raymond Jones, Sr is a named defendant in a six plaintiffs lawsuit representing four homes alleging violation of the state's consumer fraud act & fraudulent conveyance among other allegations. This can be verified by searching in the NJ eCivil Court Jacket for Raymond Jones & Pure Proof, a company he had prior to this current one (he has re-incorporated 3 times and has three active licenses in the last 2-3 years). We'll be jointing as the 7th & 8th plaintiffs. This proves the first element of theft by deception, intent to deceive; before hiring him I pointedly asked if he'd been named in any lawsuit and he denied it knowing full well he was served with a complaint just two months prior. His actions put us in a terrible situation. He kept our money, didn't finish the job, didn't obtain the proper permits and refuses to refund any of it. We don't have another $85K to start over. We are a family of a senior & a disabled minor and this was supposed to be our forever home. We are devastated. We realize we most likely will never see our money again. We only seek to warn others to not do business with then and hopefully prevent others from experiencing the same heartache and financial losses.
