I would not recommend this contractor. The general contractor is a liar, a thief and a fraud. He has made a practice of taking huge down payments from homeowners (mostly female), demolishing the home and then trying to extract more money for unrelated work around the property to get the unfinished repairs completed. Working with Larry Grigsby was a nightmare. Lie after lie after lie, then he abandoned the job an did not complete it when he could not drain me for any more money. He used unlicensed labor; he lied about his insurances and after several inspections of the shoddy work he did perform at the property, I was informed that if was not corrected, the entire structure would have caved in over our heads if there was an earthquake. After Larry Grigsby disappeared and my correspondence was being returned, I found out that he was trying to gauge my insurance company for funds for work that he never performed. FRAUD! His license should be revoked. He is a heartless con man preying on people. If you work with him, check everything and only pay for the services as you go. Get a 2nd and if necessary 3rd opinion on anything that he says needs to be done. Also, don't be fooled by the Beverly Hills address. Go to the address and see if you find a working office location.
