My experience with this contractor was a nightmare. He is related to someone I work with so I trusted him. I had a few repairs that needed to be taken care of before listing my home for sale including a hole in the outside sill of an upstairs window. All the windows in my old home are wood and should be replaced which is something I was considering. When shown the hole and asked if it could be repaired he stated emphatically that the window must be replaced and could not be repaired. He then installed a window that did not match the other 15 windows. All my other windows have 12 pane muntins - six in the top window and six in the bottom. This contractor installed a single hung, non Lo-E, plain window, the cheapest window you can buy, and then charged me 5 times the cost of the window for installation. When asked why he would do this he replied that ordering a window with muntins would have taken 3 weeks and cost more money. In reality he took the easy most lucrative way for him without consulting me. I would have been open to spending more money to get what I wanted. I would not recommend him to my worst enemy.
