Just no. Many wasted hours with no apologies. Not sure what is up but they have terrible customer sevice.

They installed a new water heater for us. The job they did was fine except they had unhooked our chest freezer and forgot to plug it back in when they were done. Was glad I noticed it before any spoilage took place.

Drop SEARS and A1 installations!!! Why? We had to buy a new dishwasher. Because of how well they did for our washer and dryer we went back to Sears. We ordered it on the 6th of this month. They hired A1 to install.
1) A1 refused to call any phone number other than the home phone number we use when required to give a phone number and a ton of scam calls come into our home phone 24 hours a day. We normally keep it off. It has been up since the 6th. We gave A1 the alternate number five times and they still refuse to call it!
2) When we discovered they called the home phone to make the appointment we called them ASAP. We were told they couldn't possibly install until today. That was a long time to wait. That is a lot of extra water used when washing dishes daily.
3) We asked to be put on a list to catch the next canceled call, they said they would have to cancel our appointment for the 19th and hope we get in. We all know that is bullshit.
4) The day comes they are supposed to call and tell us the time for installation. Do they call? No! We had to call them.
5) We finally get to the day of the installation. They finally get here and guess what! It is in the house but useless!! Why? Because they never installed the water line. They said they didn't know they were supposed to. They said they would be back later today to install it.
6) NO! They will not be back later today to install the water line. "We can't possibly make it back out there until Thursday." That is right. A five minute problem and they won't send anyone back out until Thursday.
7) We called Sears and they said there is nothing they can do.We have barely had sleep because of the phones being on 24 hours a day not knowing which phone they will call and having all of our phones go off at random times of day and night. Today I got a message at 6 AM! I am angry!
Pass the word; do not do any kind of business with Sears or A1. A1 also contracts with Lowes. I would suggest avoiding buying anything with Lowes for that reason.
If this is how they treat customers, they need to be out of business! Avoid them at all costs!

We bought a new toilet and washlet from Home Depot and they use A-1 for installation. A-1 contacted me right away and arranged for the install. Spencer arrived on time, was polite and professional. He cleaned the area and made sure I was aware how everything functioned. This is how installations should go. I'm not sure about the negative reviews but our experience was nothing but great.
