    Exceeded My Expectations

    My experience with Abercrombie Enterprises at this point was for a smaller job. Essentially, I recently was returned a rental property that was completely trashed and called Jack (the general contractor) for a bid. Jack made an appointment to come look at the property and was prompt and professional when he arrived. While he is bidding on both facets of the complete remodel as well as the possibility of taking on the entire remodel, I had an immediate need to have the property cleared of a massive amount of debris. Jack was more than willing to just take on this job outside of the scope of the larger project(s). He provided a well priced quote that compared to others specializing in this particular type of work and was able to commit his crew within a few days. The estimate was provided quickly via a web-based service that clearly spelled out what would be done and I accepted the quote.

    When I arrived to inspect the work and make payment, I was greeted by three well spoken, well groomed and polite gentlemen that had nearly completed the project. When I asked them to take care of a few things I thought they missed, they did so happily and readily. Jack also showed up to inspect the work as they were about to finish. I can only say I was impressed with the work and professionalism I saw on this job.

    While I rated this a five star job, please keep in mind that I don't see the nature of this particular job as something needed to be provided by skilled craftsman.

    As we progress through this project, and if Abercrombie Enterprises is successful in winning some or all of the renovation, I hope to be able to report my findings on those projects as well.

    Major renovation of residential buildings

    Doesn't know what he's doing and bad attitude to boot

    I signed a contract for a huge project with Jack from a high recommendation from Solano Glass. He started out okay but it degenerated quickly. Other projects became more important---like his wife's Honey-Do lis6 or a golf party for his workert. Copped a really bad attitude when I questioned why he wasn't coming. His partner Danny Rodriguez was even worse. When he did send his guys out, they did really shoddy work. He greatly overcharged for the work they did do. After I told him it was over, he wouldn't give sign over the permit so I had to get another one. Apparently Jack didn't even know how to install the shower plumbing correctly, so it all had to be redone.
