I want to find out about getting a refund for a job done by a contractor that didn’t perform work that was promised during the sales pitch. They took down heavy garage doors and replaced them with light weight wood, that they build custom, but it wouldn't secure a shed from being knocked down if someone leaned up against them, nun the less protect anything in the garage now. She originally asked for them to fix a rotten piece of wood on the bottom and repaint them, he talked her into getting these fabulous new doors. The job is not even two months old and already falling apart, the molding trim work is just falling off. The company over charged for what they did, took advantage of an old woman and we believe even tried to damage siding of the house, saying it needed repair and they could fix that too, (how do I prove that other then what my aunt saw). Very sly salesman, took advantage of my Aunt, told her they would last 30 years. After the job was done and money was handed over, he said if anything goes wrong in a year or two, let him know and he will come fix it. My brother and I are trying to reach out to them, they won’t take our calls, but keep calling my Aunt and causing her stress. Maybe they should take my call.
