Our kitchen and bathroom looked beautiful and during the work I was very happy. But within a year or two things started falling apart, tile falling down, wood trim falling, sealant and paint peeling, cabinet lights mysteriously not working. The biggest issue was a leak in the wall that hadn’t been there before. We reached out to the contractor to see if he could take a look and figure out if something had happened during the remodel to cause issues with our plumbing. He assured us that it had nothing to do with the remodel and that he would come back to fix the other things. He never did. After thousands of dollars spent on plumbers and having our kids not use their bathroom for two years We finally had to take out a wall to inspect the pipes only to find that when Astor Home had put in our cabinets, they had drilled holes into one of the pipes in our bathrooms, causing leaks. During the same time we have experienced issues in the bathroom because the correct paint wasn’t used so it is peeling things weren’t sealed properly so we are getting mold, and the electricity wasn’t installed correctly with the right amount of voltage, which is why we keep experiencing issues with lighting in the kitchen. All of the stems back to work done poorly by Astor Home.
