I've had an excellent experience working with Jose Rico and his crew. Jose is intelligent and curious, learns attentively, wants to understand how buildings work so for an architect that is a very welcomed attitude. A builder that understands the 'why' things work is always better than a builder that understands only 'how', we had a tough 3-way flashing to work out, and we did a good job of it.
His building site is always neat - messy contractor is not a good contractor - he's almost meticulous; his crew is happy and works hard, works well. They are proactive and share what they've learned when a new solution is needed. The owner also loved working with them - not because they promised cheaper solutions - but because they continuously showed then that they care - that's another big plus.
Am looking forward to working with Jose and his guys again, Lorraine, too.
