I was one of Santiago Cabrera's first customers in the early 1990's and at first when he was hungry to get his company established he was great, professional, respectful. Many times people would stop by and ask me who built my stonewall and I would eagerly give them his name. As years went on I would ask Mr. Cabrera to do other jobs but I started to notice as his business grew he would give less attention or focus to my projects some of which were extensive like stone facing for the front of the house. a new stone chimney and be in a rush to go to his higher end clients in Greenwich and Armonk. Well the last straw happened last year when I needed a new stone patio and repair to the walkway off the patio the work done was shoddy amateurish and is an eyesore. Cabrera just brushed me off in essence saying tough I have more important projects than this and there was nothing he offered to do to correct it. That was how he treated a loyal longstanding customer who gave him over $80,000 worth of business not to mention all the other business he got through my recommendations. I cannot post the photos of his shoddy work on this site but if you would like me to email them I will if you give me your email address.
