    Refurbish a small retail space.

    How this person got a contractors license is beyond understanding. Everything you have read in his other one star reviews, is true and from my experience is 1,000 times worse. Have you ever seen a business with only one star reviews? I never had till now. I only wish I could leave negative stars.

    Carnevale was hired by the landlord of my business to do renovation to a retail shop next to my shop and tennis court. It was simple work that dragged on for months. In the span of 6 months he has turned my life into a living hell.

    He is rude, sloppy, messy, lazy and completely incompetent. He will ruin anything he touches and enrage your neighbors if you hire him. He has no regard for city ordinances or doing things by code. He acts illegally and then lies about it. His workers are not properly trained

    He was doing demolition work in the shop next to my tennis court with the windows open. his jackhammers were well over 120 decibels, pulverized concrete dust covered my court and my customers. It was disgusting we all inhaled his toxic dust and fumes for the entire day. I've had customers that never returned since that day.

    I later found out that he had failed to conduct an asbestos survey before doing demolition. I filed complaints with the South Coast Air Quality Management Division (SCAQMD) and later found out that he was fined for committing four violations. Those were...

    1. Failing to conduct and asbestos survey

    2. Failing to inform the SCAQMD of pending demolition

    3. Doing demolition on a structure containing Asbestos Containing Materials (ACM)

    4. Failure to dispose of ACM in a proper disposal facility.

    He lied to a governmental investigator about doing an asbestos survey and is guilty of perpetrating a fraud.

    I have reported him to several other governmental agencies and it is my hope to have his contractors license revoked, have criminal charges brought against him and have him thrown in prison, where he belongs.

    His complete lack of regard for the community around him is unconscionable. He couldn't care less for the safety of his workers or children in the neighborhood.

    Everything he does is half ass. He has no interest in doing a good job. He usually stops working around 3pm when he tells you he will work till 6.

    He does not have the supplies he needs and is usually running to the store for things he should prepare for.

    He has lied to my face on several occasions. I've never met anyone worse at his job than this guy. Don't even consider hiring him. Run for your life if you see his truck. He is a terrible driver and a worse human being.
