    Comfort construction is the worst developer ever. I too have purchased a new construction home under their development . After waiting about 4 months I began to realize just how unprofessional and unorganized the company was. I was told that my house would be ready in 4 months when it actually took 8 months. As the months progressed it became harder to contact management. The contractors are unsupervised and provide subpar services and everyone is full of excuses as to why something wasn’t done or done correctly. In order to ensure that work was being done, my fiancé had to drive out to our house several times a week to provide our own updates and to inspect the quality of work that was being done. We had fixtures missing, flooring improperly installed and the list goes on. I do not recommend them at all! If I could give them negative stars I would!!

    I have a house in a development community under contract being built by Comfort Construction. Communication is a major issue for this company in that they don't communicate. Their "project manager" and I use that term quite loosely has refused to schedule an appointment (after informing me I needed to schedule an appointment) with me to discuss the progression of the house and any changes I would like to make after I questioned information she provided to me that was found to not be remotely accurate. When I signed the contract, it was with an estimated closing date of end of November. I was informed that date is no longer possible as they are behind but they will not provide a new estimated finish date. They refuse to give an estimated time line for the house. I know other builders lay out the time line and are very transparent. I've spoken with other buyers of the development as well and they have voiced similar concerns. This company is not transparent at all!! I have friends having houses being built in other developments with different builders who can tell me the exact break down of the timeline of their house being built including estimated finish date. Transparency is clearly a concept that other companies practice which is logical to keep the customer/buyer informed, happy and without buyer's remorse. This is a hard lesson learned. Potential buyers/those looking for a builder beware.
