    $1,298

    I would not recommend this contractor. He was recommended to me by California Door and Window, Ventura. When i contacted him, i asked if he took care of everything including permits. He said yes. Subsequently i asked later if he was taking care of everything and he said he was. When they were finishing the work, i asked the workers when the county inspector was coming. They said they had no idea. I called Mr. Cook and left a message asking when the county would come to inspect. I have not heard from Mr. Cook and found upon visiting Ventura county Building and Safety that he did not pull permits (or tell me that he was not doing so as part of 'taking care of everything'). Now i face the expense of the permits as well as possible fines or tear out as a result. Beware dealing with Cook Construction. There is a reason his license has been suspended.
