Covered Bridge is mediocre at best. The owner claims to be a home builder but i later found out that he was just a painter with no experience building. The owner has poor communication skills and fails to follow through on details unless he is constantly reminded. The project he worked on for me has yet to be completed and its been 16 months. Two of those months have gone by without any communication.
I suspect that financial hardship is part of the quality issues and the lack of communication.
If you are looking for quality and peace of mind from your contractor, you won't find it here.

Before you read understand I am a construction worker so I know things do happen to the best of us. But at the same time I know how things should look and how it should be done.
When they got the job it took them months to even get started. We tried to stay out of there way by not moving unto the work was done. But it took them so long to start we had to start moving ...
The roof had a big leak and with every passing day there was more water dmg so I had to go out on the roof my self and lay down a cover to keep the rain away from the wood...
Every part of the job was sub out ... Other then the parts the owner did him self
drywall / painting even that took some time for him to get it done.
Even that work does not look like it was done right. He even cut wood inside the home so now my wall is covered in dust what is a pain to get off....
He was always leaving screws behind on the floor (for my kid to work on..) even left behind lines on my walls from his marks. He even left wood outside what would have been rained on if not for me.
He wants the inspector to come out when the work is not even done yet (I think it so he can get paid idk).
Roofer:
The roofer left nails behind (on the roof) and even used my own plywood to fix the roof ... they left the old wood with nails pointing up when I have kids back there. Some of the sliding to the home was missing from the roofers with insulation hanging outside (left like this for a month )
Electrical guys:
They pinched the wire to the AC and never try to turn it on .. When I did it grounded it self out (smoke small fire). They never cleaned up after them self
Their work looked bad. Even left lines on my walls.
