    Horrible contractor. Work is subpar. Owner is not honest. Lots of safety issues. Took a very long time to finish my project

    I had the opportunity to work with Da Capo Inc. This was a referral from a friend. I tried my best to get as much information on this contractor/company. I was able to find out that their licenses were up to date/valid. I felt that their prices were a little high, but I decided to move forward with the project. At the first meeting, everyone was very professional. My hope was that I would get qualify work. The project took much longer than they said - most of the issues were due to not having the materials ready to use. One review I read indicated they “nickeled and dimed”them... and because of that I chose to go to the property everyday to check on the process. I also checked the receipts from each store where items were purchased. I did catch a few “mistakes”, but Da Capo rectified the issues as they came up. I also spoke directly to the men doing the actual work...making sure they did what I wanted. Sometimes I felt there was not much care in the process; I had to check and recheck each step of the process. Would I recommend Da Capo Inc.? No I would not . I say choose for yourself. A contractors job is only as good as their last job. I find it is very hard to find an excellent or even good contractor. I believe the laborers can do a good job, but some things done at my property could have been better...; I had to tell them or show them what needed to be corrected. At the price I was paying, I truly expected better. The project is done and I have a 1 Year warranty on the labor. I pray their work lasts with normal wear and tear.
