    On July 2022 I hired Anthony Raines from Division 3. Anthony Raines does work in all Chicagoland or at least he did. We hired Anthony Raines for a complete home renovation in the western suburbs of Illinois. The project was a complete renovation with everything brand new from electrical, plumbing, roof, etc. Anthony Raines ensured me that the project would get done in 12-15 weeks. Anthony Raines requested 33% of the construction cost up front which was $80,000. I did not want to agree to this and fought this many times but due to COVID-19 Anthony persuaded me that material was weeks behind and he needed to place the orders right away such as windows, kitchen cabinets, lumber, etc. We have known Anthony a long time so we TRUSTED that he would get this done and we gave him the $80,000. Boy, were we wrong! Weeks went by, and nobody ever showed up and did any work. Every single day Anthony would say “tomorrow”, and nothing ever came to fruition. Anthony Raines would also tell us that do not worry everything was ordered and we were waiting on permits from the city. After about 5-6 weeks I finally called the city myself to check on permits and they explained he never turned in all the paperwork to get them. Anthony Raines LIED to us for weeks, months, and stole our $80,000. As a consumer you would never imagine that someone could take advantage of you but people like this exist. BUYER BEWARE. Try to avoid giving large payments to general contractors and give checks once you have permits in your hand. Do not hire Anthony Raines, he will take your money and never start or finish and leave you in the wind.

    Do not use this company. D3 used shoddy materials and damaged my home. Everything from creases in my carpet to paint drips everywhere, using wood instead of trex (after making me wait 1 year for trex?), improperly caulking a shower which lead to a massive wall leak that resulted in damage from 2nd floor to basement AND stolen property. After removing some landscape fixtures (totaling $2k) they took them! They are thiefs. Horrible, horrible people.
