Install a floor in the attic

I recently had doors in my home replaced with one of the big home improvement stores and the man who installed them did a terrific job. So, when Keith Hughes was almost done with my doors, I contracted with his wife’s business, Door to Door Construction, Inc. to put a floor down in my attic. The owner, Susan Vignati Hughes, a Real Estate agent with a large firm makes all the arrangements and then sends her husband, Keith to do the work. Susan called and put me on the schedule for the job to be done and stated it was “cash only.” Her husband showed up to do the work and after an hour and a half of working he said he needed to square up with me today and would return the following week, same day, same time to finish because he ran out of materials and needed to get to another job site. Unfortunately, I trusted him and paid him the money. I went up into the attic myself and the OSB board he used is the absolute thinnest and cheapest you can buy and not strong enough to support heavy items. I specifically told Keith on many occasions that I have many very heavy items that need to go up into the attic. There's an entire OSB board that is not screwed down and boards are missing from more than ¼ of the agreed upon area to be finished. When he did not show up the following week, I called his wife and she told me I was not on the schedule and only she can put me on the schedule and would call me next week to set something up. When she did not call the following week, I called her, and she told me her husband messed up and I would be put on the schedule, and she would call me. Another week went by, and I tried calling Susan and her husband, Keith to find out when the job was going to be completed. I left several messages for both over the course of two weeks. They both ghosted me and refused to accept or return my calls or text messages. Emails were sent with no response. This is very unprofessional behavior and has caused me undue stress week after week after week waiting for the job to be finished. I deserve a full refund and more and would never recommend Susan Vignati Hughes or Door to Door Construction, Inc. to anyone for anything.
