I've been holding off posting this review and giving Ron the benefit of the doubt hoping he would come around and fix and complete the job. But after so many months of broken promises, I can't let anyone else being taken advantage of anymore.
My nightmare pretty much started a couple months into the project. Signed the contract back in June 2019 with an estimated completion date of August 2019. Was wow'd by the 3D design (now I realized other companies also do 3D). Long story short, we paid close to $100K back in September 2019 and now 7 month later, the job still isn't complete. Similar to Ahmed, our design specifically show the front 2 columns and wall have stone veneer to match the house. However, Ron didn't even order the material, meanwhile keep telling me that it's ordered! When confronted, all he can say is he doesn't personally order materials and he would have to ask his office, but he never got back to me.
The lies and any "promises" are not fulfilled. He would tell me that he will give me an update, then I wouldn't hear from him. Last communication asking him for update was 2 weeks ago! The only thing Ron is on time for is to collect payment.
I finally had enough and filed a complaint with the CA State Licensing Board on abandonment of project and also building code violations. Please stay away from Ron/Double Oak!
