  Ed has remolded our kitchen and open the walls to continue into the dining room. Excellent work and so easy to work with. We also had him to remolded our master bath and our master bedroom. Would not let anyone else work on our house!!! Always pleased with the work he does.

  Ed Leary has done three good-sized projects for me over the past few years -- a total kitchen renovation, total bathroom renovation and added a large deck off the back of my walk-out ranch. He's been exceptional with every step of every project. I have no idea where those other (earlier) reviewers are coming from but the experiences they relate do not reflect in the slightest my experience with Ed Leary of Belchertown. Perhaps there's another fellow out there by that name. The Ed Leary I worked with was a gem.

  Front Porch

  $17,000

  Added a front porch to our house. Ed was by far the easiest to work with and offered many ideas to make the project more affordable. He was quick to respond and met all deadlines for getting the prroject done. Very happy with our choice. Ed did a great job!

  I have been working with Ec Leary for about 12 years. He has rebuilt 2 of my homes from the basement up. We have found him to be creative, responsible and fairly priced. We never call anyone else for any job...large or small!

  Ed will insist that a contract isn't needed. He was reprimanded and fined by the state for abandoning a project without justification and failure to execute a contract. Ed's work in mediocre at best. We hired him to install kitchen cabinets and he installed what he could and after he was paid 2/3rd's of his fee he told us "I can't do it" and he left. Be careful because Ed can talk like he knows what he is doing but when he can't do something or he installs something wrong he will try and blame the homeowner. If you must deal with Ed (we wouldn't recommend it) please make sure you get a very detailed contract and specify everything you want done otherwise he will only do what he is comfortable doing. It would be best to pay him after he has completed the work and you are 100% satisfied. We were left with an unfinished kitchen and Ed ran after he was satisfied with what he was paid. We have since talked to 3 other contractors who laughed at the way Ed installed the cabinets. Everything needs to be taken down and reinstalled the correct way.

  Horrible contractor. More of a handyman at best. VERY shabby work. Will take your money and provide horrible workmanship. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere.
