By J. T.August 5, 2017Replace 150' deep well pump
I called Hess Well at 7:45 PM on Friday night. Mr. Hess answered the phone personally and at 6:45 AM Saturday, Eric Hess arrived to replace our well pump. By 8:30 AM we had water! Excellent service in every way! J. Theoharis Aug. 5, 2017

Eric responded quickly to our call. He and his expert crew went right to work and identified the problem. He had all the parts and equipment needed to complete the job quickly. They replaced the deep water well pump, the wiring and well pipe for a reasonable competitive price. When the job was completed there wasn't any evidence that they were here. Eric is a friendly and courteous professional. I am happy to recommend Eric Hess Plumbing with enthusiasm.

By K C.September 1, 2014Emergency Well Pump Service (Replacement)$$38001 dayTop notch well pump service contractor
We called for Well Pump service on Sunday morning of Labor Day weekend. This contractor definitely stands by the 24/7, 365 days a week statement as posted on the website and their Yellow Pages ads. Eric asked a number of questions to determine the problem and what supplies he might need to fix our problem. Within an hour of our call Eric and his team were knocking at our door. He had everything he needed on his truck to pull our well pump, replace the burned out deep well pump as well as the wiring, deep well poly pipe, and other necessary materials. It was obvious that Eric is a trained professional with expertise in well pumps. He and his team worked efficiently and courteously, and in just under 3 hours of his arrival our well was back in service. While other cost estimates were not available, the costs were in an appropriate range for the services provided. I would recommend Eric Hess Plumbing and Pump Service without any reservations.

Had a submersible pump and pressure tank installed, and when he recharged the neutralizer, he overfilled it. They did not respond after initially following up, as the overfill disabled the backwash mechanism. I found this out by getting another well plumber, and he went on to explain that the pressure valve was set too high, the couplings were mixed metals after the pressure tank, and that he had used an low quality pressure tank and a 2 wire instead of 3 wire pump. Disaster outfit, stay clear!
