Eric had previously installed french doors in our house and his team did a good job. Doors can be tricky and they seemed to know what they were doing when it came to doors. His quality was good and price reasonable. When it came to installing an iron door for the front entry I went back to him. This time I didn't get an estimate upfront - that's on me and I was off on the door width measurements by an 1" on each side. He made a pretty big deal, but knew I didn't have any options. His team installed the door and because his painter quit the week before, he was doing the painting, caulking and touch-up. For both days we opened our home up for them to drink anything from the refrigerator - including beers at the end of the day - we also offered them to go swimming in our pool which they did. The painting, calking and touch-ups were poorly done, again, my mistake I paid him and he left. Afterwards, I called and let him know there were so many areas that hadn't been caulked or painted. It took him 4 weeks to return and when he returned today, he had an arrogant attitude, like he is too busy to paint and it was my fault he did a poor job. He even said I had a passive aggressive approach and that he was only responding to me. Stay away from him, he acts very casual about things, but he is careless and still doesn't have a painter working for him.
