    catwalk cement replacement and exterior soffit replacements

    NEVER hire Express Quality. Express Quality took over 4 years on our project which should have been completed in 8 months. We finally had to fire them. We paid them over $1 million and now have to have another contractor remove most of their inferior work and do it properly.
    Here is a list of some of the many problems we experienced:
    1. They used interior drywall on our exterior soffits, which caused mold and mildew. We had to hire another company to completely remove their work and do it properly with the correct materials.
    2. Inspections by the city inspector found they did not complete work per our blueprints. Work had to be stopped.
    3. They did not do work per blueprints and covered it up resulting in rust pouring down the brick of our building (photos available)
    4. They installed vinyl fascia on the exterior of our building which blew off!!! Another contractor inspected the problem and said it was installed incorrectly—they used the wrong nails. It had to all be removed and installed correctly by someone else.
    5. They did not cover our exterior railings when doing cement work resulting in all our railings being damaged (3 floors). The cost to replace the railings will be $96,000.
    6. Their workers cleaned their cement tools in our laundry room sink resulting in a $1,600 plumbing bill, which we had to pay!!
    The list goes on and on.
