I needed to have a two tiered 35 ft. retaining wall rebuilt. They informed me that they could not use the existing blocks because they would have to be cleaned......this was my first hint of a problem since the other contractors I contactacted said they were in good shape. I was to get their written estimate in about 3 or 4 days. I finally received it today, 2 weeks later. There quote was $6400. I am having it done by another contractor for $2000. They talk a good game, but beware.
