Permits
- Building permit records show that Gale Force Construction has worked on 6 permitted projects.
We got a referral through our local real estate agent.
I'm giving a 3-star for now since work is in progress. I'll update once it's done.
* PRO
- They have Liability Insurance
- For our place, they finished demo and tiles(90%) so far. Their tile job is beyond great.
Two thumbs up for the tiles.
- The CEO, Joseph Tokai is a good listener, very calm and chill. Remodeling is always stressful and he knows it well. He pays keen attention if everyone is happy about any decision.
* CONS
- There has been about 20% of the additional cost on top of the initial estimate.
There's always something coming during the construction, but the initial estimate from the ceiling to floor remodeling excludes painting is bit odd.
- They have a lot of projects going on. Depends on your project size, you might feel that you're not getting enough attention/speed. This is usual thing with any contractors.
- The design update is very slow - again, probably due to other projects. Or, this could be my fault since I didn't sign for the ending date.
I would also like to know if there are other people who used ACMIP or Gale Force Construction for their residential remodeling to see what they say.
Tips: Their contract is good. Take advantage of their contract, which fines them $100 a day for passing the due date. My project has been dragging a bit and I regret that I didn't sign the contract.
