  Paint, Walls, electricals.

  Do not use this contractor. they bring in unskilled workers and are never on time. the renovation was supposed to be completed in 3 weeks and is now going in week 5. they will nickel and dime you for the smallest of work you ask them to do. the paint job done by one of the unskilled worker is so horrible we will have to have the whole apartment repainted. the work they did in the entire apartment is sub-par, including building walls, paint, electricals, installing toilets and light fixtures. they don't have/get skilled workers and get people who stand outside of home depot. there was only 1 guy working the entire time, the main person would walk in and out and be at his other job or oh phone giving estimates for other jobs. they still want few more days to do "touch-up" because they didn't first do a good job on the first time.

  Do not use this contractor. In April 2010, my husband and I made the decision to have our kitchen renovated. We contacted 'Giovani Martini' after receiving a recommendation from a co-worker regarding his services. After conducting interviews with Martini and several other contractors, we moved forward with Martini, entering into a verbal agreement in which my husband and I agreed to pay a specified amount for the following renovations:

  1). Repaint kitchen walls and cabinets.
  2). Re-tile kitchen floor.
  3). Replace kitchen countertop with new marble
  4). Replace tile on portion of kitchen wall (back splash)

  Over the course of approximately three weeks, Giovani Martini and his associates, who were quite evidently unskilled workers, completed the renovations; however, not as we agreed. In fact, the work was completely sub-standard. The following is a list of the poor renovations conducted and additional damage caused by Giovani Martini and his associates during their time working in our house:

  1). Almost immediately upon completion of work, tile and grout began to come undone.
  2). Dishwasher was broken by Giovani Martini and his associates (it remains unusable)
  3). Countertop is shorter in length than original (this was pointed out during the renovations and Martini just denied (outright lied) such was the case though significant evidence is available to prove new marble countertop was insufficient and did not match length of original.
  4). Part of the marble countertop (provided by their supplier) is damaged.
  4). Poor paint job .

  We have tried on numerous occasions over the past few years to contact Martini via phone and email about these issues. We have also sent him photos He initially agreed (immediately following completion of the job) to fix some of these issues including the damaged countertop and the poor grout job, which he acknowledged were a problem; however, he did not follow up.
