  Gormley Construction did the work to remove leaky stucco on the back wall of our row home in Philadelphia and replace with Hardie board siding. We love the results. They did a thorough job in resolving any water leaks; they even removed the windows, installed new flashing, made everything water tight, and reinstalled. A hiccup occurred when I realized the trim color was incorrect, but Ryan responded immediately, told me not to worry, that the trim would be repainted to the color I selected. Throughout the project, Ryan was very responsive and his work crew did a great job - they were courteous and professional and worked 10 hour days. At the end of each day, our yard was cleaned up of construction debris, as well as our neighbor’s yard. The project was completed in two weeks. We have received many compliments on our new exterior backwall. We highly recommend Gormley Construction.

  Gormley Construction recently replaced our failing stucco with Hardi siding and stone. The crew was hardworking and friendly. They treated our home as if it were their own and left it spotless at the end of each workday. Ryan was very responsive and attentive, which made it easy for last-minute changes. For such a big project, it was truly a painless process and I would gladly hire them again.

  After discovering our windows leaking whenever it rained, we hired Gormley Construction to replace the stucco on our home. Ryan came out and explained the cause of the leaks and explained what needed to be done. We had no idea the underlying issues which caused severe rot and mold to the structure of our home! Ryan gave us a fair estimate and he responded immediately to the many questions we had. His team did everything they said they would and the project stayed on budget. We have had many compliments from our neighbors, our home is truly beautiful! Thank you, Ryan and Team!

  Stucco Remediation

  Stucco remediation

  I would not recommend him for any reason whatsoever. HE REFUSED TO HONOR HIS WARRANTY. I do not know whether the stucco work was done properly as that is enclosed and I cannot see it. But everything visible was sloppy and badly done. They covered up the outside tap when they stuccoed the front; in fixing the tap they severed part of the water line to the house; in fixing that, they severed my land line.
  They left a lot of debris and it took some effort to get them to come back to finish cleaning up. They never completely cleaned up.
  Worst of all: a crack opened up in the interior dry wall they installed when they rebuilt the outside wall. Although it was only six months after the work was completed and under warranty, he did not respond when I let him know about the problem, and he did not respond to an inquiry from the Better Business Bureau. He's a liar.
  DO NOT HIRE HIM.

  Stucco remediation

  I would not recommend this company. I hired them to do stucco remediation and I have no way of telling whether they did a good job because it's all hidden. That kind of work should not be visible, so the only thing I can rate them on is how well they did what I could see. And that was pretty bad.
  Their attention to detail and cleaning up ranged from sloppy to awful. For example, they did some very minor damage (stuccoed over the outside tap), but in cleaning it up, they severed the water line to the house. In fixing that they severed my land line/ I had to call the phone company to fix it, and Gormley took over three months to reimburse me. Slow and sloppy.
  Still haven't finished cleaning up their stuff but they refuse to do more.
  There's still some debris on the roof and I will have to hire someone to remove it.
  I could go on but you get the idea.
  Hire someone else.
