By AnonymousMay 29, 2014Remoldel a Bathroom$8,00060 daysGreatful Till They are Paid
I recently had a bathroom remolded by this company. The estimate was low. They did hang me up for a couple of appointments. We did decide to use them. The job seemed to be going well till plumbing and electrical issue came up. They still insisted on being paid in full on time even though the job was not finished. After to many phone calls and no correction to unfinished work. We hired and electrician, plumber and a painter to finish the job. I am happy with the finished bathroom. However it was 1,000 dollars over budget do to having to hire additional sub contractors. Pass on these guys even if they sound genuine.

Stay very far away from this contractor. They have since changed their name to RH Construction. I had a total bathroom remodel which they came in and bid for. They were dilligent until they got the contract. They bid low. The didnt want any money until the rebuild started. Once they had 1/3rd of the money is when the problems started. Costs started to rise, they purchased stuff for another job and tried to bill it to me, they tried to keep left over materials that I paid for and they ran a week over. When the bath tub and shower pan were installed they covered it with card board (I thought to keep it from getting scuffed up) but I found out that it was really to cover damage on the tub. There were 2 huge cracks and of course, now that its installed, it would cost more to rip it out to replace it. They blamed the store which it probably was broken in the store but the point is, they didnt inspect it before installing it. Then the contractor threatened to walkk away from the job when I called them out on not inspecting the merchandise before installing it. They said it wasnt their responsibility. They were just installers. The bathroom was unusable at this point so we agreed to let them finish the install. It took an extra week and all seemed ok. A few weeks later, the grout was falling out in the shower. They came back to regrout. A year later, the grout is cracking and falling out again, the floor grout is cracking and there are a few tiles that are loose because they didnt level the thinset when they were installling the floor. When I contacted them to get them to come and take a look, they refuse. I remind them of their 10 year warranty on labor items (and grout work would fall under labor) but they refuse to answer the phones.
