Definitely Would NOT hire again. TERRIBLE experience, structural engineering called for reinforcing basement/ floor joists. Done incorrectly, (see pix) which led to our FLOOR SAGGING, and consequently our Upstairs Floor SAGGING, which cracked our shower pan and tile, and resulted in rain from the upstairs shower. That was fun and expensive to fix. Good times!
Then, We had to Shore up the main floor, because his guys did not reinforce the floor joists adequately. His crew are young framers, not finish carpenters, yet somehow they didn't reinforce the floor properly. Labor cost for three inadequate framers is 10K per week!
Sweet!
His Subs are all his buddies, and they do terrible work. We spent over $50,000
correcting the plumbing, electrical, framing, tile work, and finish (haha) work. He loves time and materials because they all treat it as a government job. Their trailer leaked of pot, they did a crap job, didn't clean up after themselves, to the point where we looked like a junkyard, lots of things went missing. We would only re hire two subs; SDC stone, the stone guy and Diamond Woodcraft, the cabinet guy.
You will thank me. Awful and expensive.
