    Paint inside of

I hired the brother Lyle part of this company. Took them 4 weeks to do something that should have taken a week. They only have 1 guy working for them. This guy only then worked at the most 4 hours a day. This guy was hung over or high on pot. They got paint all over furniture. Ruined brand new carpet wit paint since they didn’t cover the carpet. They just keep changing their name and no one catches them. DONT
HIRE anyone from Davenport WA with GUILLARD in the name of the
    Business.

    Exterior painting of home
    $6,000

I hired this painter through Home Advisor. He is no longer on their site. I've pasted the review I left below. He now is claiming he painted my house and has people driving by to see "his work." I asked the painter who finished my house to attach a banner-type sign to my chainlink fence, so Gullard cannot take credit for painting my house and steal work from the guy who painted it. Now the sign is missing. :/

"I hired Duane Gullard to paint the exterior of my house. I have retained a lawyer to address the dispute I have with Duane Gullard. I made the down payment of $2,050 in February 2018. After having his employees power wash my home in March 2018, he came to my home, not to work but, to ask for two "progress payments."

I paid him $1,000, and a week later he asked to $2,000. Then he didn't show up or communicate with me for a month.

No one showed up to do any work until I told him that I was going to retain a lawyer to see what my options were about having my house painted. After receiving my email, he personally arrived at my home and painted for approximately one hour. The next working day, two of his employees began painting the home.

Only one of his employees showed up to work on time and worked in a professional manner. When Duane decided to no longer use that employee to paint my home, and no one else came to paint, I hired a lawyer.

Sherwin-Williams credit department contacted me because as of July 7, 2018, Duane Gullard had not paid for the paint. The balance is $2,257.12, and Sherwin-Willams can put a lien on my home for that amount if it is not paid. I have paid Duane Gullard almost twice the amount of the money that is owed to Sherwin-Williams. I had to hire another painter to complete the job. My attorney reviewed the invoices from Sherwin-Williams that show Duane Gullard ordered more than twice the amount of trim paint than he did of the main color. It is unclear why he would order 78 gallons of trim paint when only 29 gallons were needed of the main color to paint the entire house.

I am trying to forestall a lien being put on my home, and my attorney is trying to recoup the cost of the paint plus the amount of money I needed to hire another painter.

As of right now, Duane Gullard owes me $4,257.21, the amount of the paint he charged to my account with Sherwin-Williams plus the amount I had to pay the painter who finished my home and my legal fees. If Duane Gullard does not settle this dispute, I will have to take him to court. He should not be listed on Home Advisor."

I think other people should know that his guy is pretty shady.
