  Build 2 Versa-Loc retaining walls

  $5,500

  We contacted Heavy Weight Builders after the previous contractor was found in breach of about everything in our construction contract. The retaining walls were not built with a gravel base, were not remotely level and were generally unreliable in every aspect you could think of. Clay came and assessed the damage and gave us a very reasonable quote to not only undo the previous guys (I can’t even call them contractors) shoddy work, but rebuild them correctly and clean up ALL of the mess left behind by the previous guys. Clay and Damon started the work before schedule and completed the project in record time. These guys truly saved our butts and now we have 2 retaining walls that look phenomenal and our yard is on its way to looking like it did prior to the previous disaster. They deserve 10 stars in our opinion.

  Hardscape

  I contacted Heavy Weight Construction, along with 3 other hardscape providers, in March 2022 to estimate a patio project I was considering. I had a pretty solid vision but it lacked details. One company refused to provide a quote without me first paying for a design engagement, so they were out. Of the 3 that remained, Clay from Heavy Weight was the most prompt and willing to work with me on getting all the details locked down. His price was also the best of the 3 providers, so that was a bonus. I selected him in early May, and he began the work in early June as he had promised. The project included multi-level paver stone patios, several sitting walls, a gas firepit with a new gas line install, and drainage installation. During the construction Clay made several suggestions for additions, such as adding a sailor course of brick around the fire pit, to enhance the look at no extra cost. I added a few items myself as the project progressed and Clay was very accommodating to the changes. Overall the project turned out even better than I had imagined and I highly recommend Clay and Heavy Weight Construction.
