Based on our experience, I would warn prospective customers NOT to even consider using Hemingway Co. He demands all payments upfront and does not complete work on a timely basis, or in our case, at all. We have waited 7 months for Steve Ray to complete a basement remodeling job involving building custom cabinets for the bar area and still have no drawers for our cabinets, no bar sink plumbing hookup, and incomplete electrical work. After paying him nearly $60,000 so far with no documented accounting of materials and labor cost, he continues to demand more money despite work that should have been completed months ago.
