First off if I can give Hernan and his worker's and a 0 star I would. Initially, prior hiring Herman he was easy to talk to and he ensured that we would be happy when the house is completed. My wife and I expressed that we are very discriminating when comes to the finish work. Again, he ensured that he and his guys would get the job done correctly.
Our project was an extensive rebuild and we had plans drawn by an architect. Things started going south after the demolition process. I should have realized that Herman is not as thorough as he says he is. For example, in one of the rooms he states that the architect did not call out for a load-bearing beam. Which in fact after I reviewed the plan with the architect he did call for a load-bearing beam. The floor plan was slightly changed by the framers due to his carelessness.
And by the time the finish work was completed it was not up to our standard. We verbally expressed our concerns and his response was very con descending. The project itself took twice as long than anticipated .
