I hired Robert Hunter of Hunter Contracting to repair a deck lift. Bottom line, I'm out $1,726.00 and he has ghosted me. Robert insisted I pay him cash, $350.00 for the day he came out to look at the issue.
Robert called me a few days later and require that I send him $1,376.00 through an online app.
Robert had ordered parts that did not work in my application. He then tried to modify the new motor and was unsuccessful. Since he had tried to modify the new parts, he rendered them unreturnable. Robert then took my original motor to have it repaired. Now, three months later, he has ghosted me. I'm 73 years old and disabled and I rely on my lift to get groceries and etc. up to the living area of my home. I'm out $1,726.00 and don't even have the original motor so someone else may be able to fix the lift.
