James asked our Company A Plus Gutter Systems Inc. to come out to a jobsite in Pasadena and provide a quote for seamless Rain Gutters. We decided on a custom 6 inch Angle Face Profile in a Custom Color "Midnight Bronze"
Once I submitted my estimate to him , he accepted the quote and we scheduled his job for about 3 weeks out. This was Just before the holidays.
3 weeks was actually a good install date as we are backed up and quite busy during the rainy season/Holiday season.
My wife "Nancy" sent him multiple requests for the deposit.
All E-mails were ignored and not responded to.
we were unaware that Apparently the morning before the installation he had paid the deposit . again with no email or notification, we had to pull his job off of the schedule because we never heard back from him regarding the deposit. We were not given enough time to purchase the required materials for the job.
When he found out that we were not going to be able to show up that day for the installation, he proceeded to text and call my wife, he was furious and demanded his deposit back.
We told him the reasons why we had to re-schedule his job but he didn't want to hear it.
We offered him a new schedule date 3 days later but he refused it.
We went ahead and reversed the credit card payment that he had made and returned his deposit to him.
James proceeded to blanket the internet with bad reviews with his one sided take on what transpired.
I am writing this review of James based soley on our experience with him. I have no knowledge of his work quality or otherwise.
I want sub trades to be aware of him as it seemed that he was trying to avoid paying a deposit, until the very last minute and unfortunately you can see how he reacted when re-scheduled. He immediately started attacking my wife and our company. Not very Professional if you ask me.
