Had JBM come and relocate an interior door that leads into my garage. Was given an estimate that included relocating HVAC lines for a mini split unit that included new copper lines and wiring. Ended up not needing new copper lines and they brought in their electrician to “reroute” the wiring. The wiring was not “rerouted” and is in the same location it was previously. I was given a bill with an added $700 electrician charge. I spoke to Mike and asked why the estimate included wiring but now he is billing me an additional $700 for a reroute that did not occur. He had no answer and kept saying how he lost a half a day coming from Nassau to Suffolk (Huntington). It made no sense to me. I also texted him a picture of the new baseboard molding they installed that had a big crack in it with the nail sticking a 1/4 inch out of it. He offered to have his guy come and replace it but I was just so over the shadiness of him adding charges to my bill I just declined his offer. His work was average and his handling of the situation was embarrassing.
