    Gabe very difficult to communicate with. He told me several times he'd get back to me "tomorrow" then I'd follow up a few days later and he'd say "tomorrow" again. I eventually hired him to remove four trees, including the stumps. Three were near fence line and one in the patio. I was told the job would take one day but after the crew left on day one, the job was clearly not done. I contacted Gabe, and he told me they would come back the next morning, early on a Sunday. I thought it was unprofessional to not ask, or even alert me that he planned to send people back into my yard early on a weekend morning. A week after the job was done, we went to plant replacement trees and discovered the stumps were still there. I contacted Gabe and he seemed to know it hadnt been done because he said he would send his guys back the next day. The next day it still didn't look like the stump had been removed from the patio so I contacted Gabe again. He assured me it had been removed the first time. When my gardners came out to plant a tree in the patio they discovered the stump was still there and had to remove it. I sent Gabe pictures but he never replied again. Overall I think the work was sloppy and not handled professionally. For example, the crew left drink bottles and some garbage strewn in the yard, and at no time did the crew ever check with me when they arrived to make sure they were removing the right trees or show me that the work was done before they left. We decided not to use JDL for our other landscaping projects.
