Do not use this company. The owner does not stand behind his warranty and continually lies to get out of fixing his pool workmanship.
In July 2018 I alerted Jerod Wilks the owner of Precision Pools that the pool finish by Wet Edge was disintegrating causing large sharp areas and holes in the pool. This was only the second year my pool was open and several guests had sustained injuries due to the sharp edges the disintegration had caused. I was told that the company who installed the finish, Pearl Plaster would be contacted and would repair the pool before it was closed for the winter. This was not done. I was then told it would be fixed early 2019 when the pool was first opened. After numerous calls to Mr. Wilks I was informed that Pearl Plaster was refusing to fix my pool because they were not upholding the warranty they provide Precision Plaster (according to Mr. Wilks he had a 3 year warranty with them).
I then reached out to Tom at Pearl Plaster and was informed that they only offered Mr. Wilks a 1 year warranty and that they were not providing any services to Precision Pools because Mr. Wills owed them 30k in back payments. I once again contacted Mr. Wilks and was informed he was filing a lawsuit against Pearl Plaster as he had several pools with this damage. He informed me that until they agreed to fix my pool he could not repair the damage. I informed Mr. Wilks that I was given a lifetime warranty by Precision Pools and they needed to honor that warranty and fix my pool.
Precision Pools website currently states “Shotcrete pool shells have a lifetime warranty from Precision Pools”. I have reached out to Mr. Wilks and Precision Pools on numerous occasions and currently Mr. Wilks has neglected to respond to my inquiries as to when my pool will be repaired.
Additionally, I recently learned that the shell had damage around the deep end filter at completion prior to water being added, Mr. Wilks was informed, and neglected to make repairs. I was never informed of this issue. It has been a year since my initial complaint and the damage still has not been repaired. Several people have been injured due to this damage. I have recently learned that Precision Pools is being sued by several people for similar issues.
