Unprofessional, Messy, FULL of excuses & made no attempt to finish their work before hurricane Sandy (10/29/12). It was a small leak repair that turned into a large unnecessary job. Little did they know at first, I am a foreman for a local high end contractor ( Cambridge MA, specializing in historical restorations). They created 6 additional leaks due to negligence & incompetence. I called the lead guy on a Saturday eve when the first leaks from his work started and received no visit, only excuses. I had to get on the roof myself at 8pm & install some temporary flashing. They even left 2 of their ladders up before the storm, one lightly tied off & the other not. The forcast called for 50-60 mph winds! They also used the cheapest materials available. When I asked about using the appropriate material, the owner of the company who claims 30 yrs. experience, scratched his head and said, " what's that?". I was asking about modified bitumen, a commonly used material that is appropriate for flat roof areas, which this was. They used a product that's half the price, tears easily, shrinks & will fail in 2-3 yrs. A product not intended for flat areas! I can't believe any roofer or builder wouldn't know this. I plan on several more leaks until I can get a competent roofer to redo the whole job or do it myself. This was the worst sub-contracting experience I've had in 15 yrs.

I wish I had read the many reviews this contractor has online. After the company attempted to fix one small leak, several other leaks appeared in areas that never had a single blemish. The roofer's response " We'll just hafta wait till the next storm when it leaks again to pin point the problem." Meanwhile our ceiling is destroyed and can't be repaired until the leak is fixed. This contractor has caused more damage than the roof originally had. He is FULL of excuses. Buyer beware !
