We were happy with the final results and the drive looks great. It has held up very well. Most of the workers were careful and cleaned up the job sight when it was done. During the laying of the blacktop the truck knocked off a gutter. They did return and it was fixed; however, it did take a while.
The original estimate was reasonable. During the preparation, (digging down to put in base rock) it was found that the ground was less stable then originally thought. They ran into soft clay and muck. They needed to get 6 tons more of rock. (I was told by a friend they should have quoted me how many more yards they needed and not tons.) The resulting final bill ended up $2,000.00 more.

Do not use this company. Words cannot express how horrible this company is. We had them put in a new asphalt driveway and concrete walkway. The asphalt does not end at the end of the house foundation as requested, the transition of the concrete to the asphalt is raised badly, and the concrete cracked just 7 days after completion. Joe came to the house to assess the issues and stated he will come back and fix whats necessary. That was nearly 4 weeks ago and has never shown. Called him 6 times and he just pushed us aside. At the 6th call, he had the nerve to tell us to call someone else. What?! He will tell you he will come but will NEVER show up.
Joe himself is a joke and a very bad business owner. Horrid work ethic. Joe will tell you he has 30-40 years of experience but his work is clearly shotty at best. He would tell you every excuse in the book to deflect from making thing right and does not keep promises. Will only tell you what you want to hear when in person. When paid in full, he will never return to fix issues that he promised to fix and will provide you false expectations of arrival.
Disregard any warranties given as Joe will never resolve issues that may arise. Joe's excuse of that chunk of concrete on the asphalt (pictured) was that the asphalt truck already left so he just used concrete to patch it up. Poorly done and an eyesore. Nothing that was done lines up. Joe has no experience with concrete but will sell you the service. He had someone else come in to assist with concrete work.
This company should be shut down and Joe's license should be taken away. Our neighbors had good experience with Joe but we were clearly given difference service and end product. You are better off paying a little more money to another reputable company. Joe will only give you headache and misery. Legal representative will be contacted and BBB will be notified.
