  Yes Highly recommend John Dunne he was very efficient found my toilet problem and was very honest.

  water pipes/ heater/main drain

  I started using John E Dunne Plumbing and Heating, about 10 years ago when I bought a home fixer upper. The house had been vacant for a long time over the years all the water pipes had burst do to freezing.. John took his time and traced every line fixed over 50 breaks and got the heater running, later he installed new baseboard heat in an addition we had built. Years later we were having trouble with the main waste pipe backing up into the basement John came out and diagnosed the problem by running a video camera into the sewer and discovered that the top of the waste pipe had been broken, when Aqua water co. patched the street after installing a new water main this was caused by their digging up the street, John also assisted us with a claim against Aqua water co. so a 10,000 dollar repair cost us nothing, Aqua also reimbursed us for the many main drain clean outs over the years. John E Dunne Plumbing and Heating is a very reputable company, John himself is very honest with his costumers.. Response time and prices are excellent.. I would highly recommend John E Dunne Plumbing and Heating..

  Well, I can't speak to his professional abilities but I can tell you that he stalked me for several years by sending me disturbing text messages. I don't know him, have never met him & have no idea how he got my phone #. I don't know if he randomly entered 10 digits & happened to have gotten me or if he physically watched me. I finally involved the police who confronted him via phone - - twice. Communication seems to have finally stopped. I wouldn't let this person in my home or business.

  The system forces me to give at least one star but please understand that I am giving this contractor a zero.

  My company, a regional non-profit, hired John Dunne to install a drain pipe from a trash compactor to the sanitary sewer. Instead of running it to a sanitary sewer as we specified, John ran the drain pipe to one of our roof top storm drains that emptied out into our parking lot. For several weeks we had raw sewage pouring out into our parking lot. The smell was overwhelming. Additionally, he installed the drain line flush up against the compactor housing, causing the entire structure to vibrate whenever the pump was activated.

  We explained the problem to John and asked that he rerun the line to the sanitary sewer as he promised to do originally. After some hemming and hawing he told us that he would do so only after we paid him more money. This, of course, was rank extortion. I explained that we had already paid him to run the line to the sewer and that the mistake was his to fix at his own costs. He refused to fix the problem.

  Later, he agreed to pay us back the $2,000 we paid him to run the line. To date he has not returned one dime.

  We ended up hiring a different contractor who had to completely remove the work that John Dunne did and reinstall the drain correctly to the sanitary sewer.

  Do not do business with this contractor. John Dunne has zero integrity. If he has no qualms about screwing over a non-profit company he will certainly have no problems screwing you over too. There are many reputable contractors in Philadelphia. John Dunne is not one of them.
